1. Simple GUI project skin design competition

Design a QMC@HOME project skin for the simple GUI!
If your skin is elected by the other users you win half a year worth of computing power!
(One of our workstation is run under your account data for half a year.)

2. Mug design competition

Design a logo and/or a flipside logo for the QMC@HOME mug!
(Cori is desperately waiting for her QMC@HOME mug ...)
If your logo is elected by the other users you win half a year worth of computing power!

3. Other promotion material design competition

Design stickers, posters, flyers, balloon or ballpen imprints or whatever!
If your work is elected by the other users you win half a year worth of computing power!
(One of our workstation is run under your account data for half a year.)

General participation conditions

If you participate, you agree to free, general usage and publication of your work.
Make sure to use only self-owned or free graphics and other material.
Please provide author name and a version number (as improvements and updates may arise).

Votes will start when enough material for a poll has been send in.
Additional special prices may be given to work of exceeding high creativity and/or quality.
Please note: Color gradients or more than 3-4 colors may pose a problem for the production of the articles.

Summary:

Reactions between molecules are important for virtually all parts of our lives. The structure and reactivity of molecules can be predicted by Quantum Chemistry, but the solution of the vastly complex equations of Quantum Theory often requires huge amounts of computing power. In our project we want to aquire the necessary computing time to further develop the very promising Quantum Monte Carlo (QMC) method for general use in Quantum Chemistry.
