Cocconi è il primo gruppo Italiano non-profit di astrofili, partecipante e promuovente il progetto SETI@home in Italia e la divulgazione delle problematiche inerenti SETI, radioastronomia e bioastronomia, su rigorose basi scientifiche. Italian SETI researchers and members of TeamSETI of SETI Institute, The Planetary Society, IARA Italian Amateur Radio Astronomy and all 'saganians' of the world.
